This week I'm buying new keyboard and I need some help in the final decision .
I have decided that I'll go for 61 keys and not 49 .

Any opinions , especially from owners of the following products will be very helpful .

Roland A-800 PRO : 565 $

Novation Impulse 61 : 640 $

Arturia The Laboratory 61 : 640 $

M-Audio Axiom Pro 61 : 795 $

AKAI MPK-61 : 810 $

Novation Remote 61 SL MKII : 910 $

Thanks in advanced for posting

I've liked my Novation 61SL MK2 quite well. Folks that talk crap on Automap simply haven't bothered to learn the software (it works great, and isn't hard,) or they're using really old versions. Even if you opt out of using Automap, the touch-sensitive midi controls are awesome.

IMO for me for the feature set and the fast action but weighted feel for keys, etc. makes the unit stand out.

Beware of the M-Audio axiom pro 61 especially if you are using cubase 64 ... the hypercontrol (Same as automap in other devices) is not working for the 64 version and without it the device is over priced and in my opinion not worth buying.

They're < $500 (USD) on Amazon. Not sure where in the world you're seeing such prices.

I don't have a store that sells Blofeld products in my country , and I prefer to buy from a store and not online .

Thanks for the suggestion anyway

I love novation products so I would go with something from their line.

The only thing I wouldnt take is anything from maudio, but thats because I have really bad experience with that company (two brand new midi keyboards broke the same day I got them, both soundcards I had from that company had something wrong with them etc ) but as I said thats my experience with them           www.psilocybian.com / www.facebook.com/psilocybian

IMO, investing more than 400 euro in midi keybord has any sense only if you are a pro piano player. better buy anything for that price and pay piano teacher rest of the money

I found someone that sells the Yamaha AN1x for 400$ .

What should I check when I go buy this one ? ( any specific related problems for this AN1x model ? )
