Need some advice on sinth sounds

Hy psy ppl. I am always searching for new sounds and testing all sorts of vsts plugins but i still havent found the sounds im after. It makes me feel a bit frustrated coz i have the tunes and melodies but i cant find those psy trance lead sounds with gratty and deep feel.
So plz help and tell me what to use. i have put in my tracks till today plugins like Z3ta, Absynth, Vanguard, Slayer 2, Fm7 and a few more but STILL none of them have in theyr presets that "special" psy trance sound to arrange the melodies.
I have some track hanging because of this so im in desperate need of advice... Thnx in advance |

Your not gonna find too many presets that you'll be happy with. Just keep tweaking and experimenting with effects. Lately I've gotten some good leads out of the A1 that comes with cubase, it's really a powerful synth that I always overlooked. Also NI Reaktor has some good lead synths. Peace and Light.

Go to Cosmosis' site and grab the Albino patch bank off of there.
Dissect them.
I'm learning (from his patches) that I've spent too much time trying to find the 'right' synth rather than learning one synth in the 'right' way. |

Synth1 has got a preset called Alien or something, quite cool. |

Thanks fuzzikitten i completely forgot i had albino v2 in my hdd hehe i already tryed some of the sounds and its GREAT!!! Im still wondering why i never used albino...well know i will hehehe.
Still i think more should be discussed about sounds and effects to apply ,its the heart of psy trance music so i dont understand why we all dont focus the discussion on the main issue wich i think is SOUNDS the rest is all imagination working to get the perfect melody. |

I downloaded the cosmosis banks, but when I load them in Albino 2. I get an Instrument load error: format mismatch VGT1 Order 0.
I've been able to load other Albino sound banks without any problem, ??? |

it gives the same error with me but still works fine so no worries labyrinth...i got my music rolling now with a good selection of sounds i took about 30 minutes to compile the first 3 minutes of a new track ...i still have a problem ...i NEED A SOUND ENGENNIER shit i have no pacience wathsoever to learn for real the tecnical part of sound mastering |
