Hey guys!
I just bought myself 2 pioneer cdj100s and now I need a mixer (doh)!:)
I am asking you guys who knows about this... What mixer should I buy? Pioneer? Behringer? Its a shop in the town where I live which sells behringer dj mixers and they seems pretty nice... anyone of you had any experience with them?
Money availible about 200-400$

i think ou should check out pioneers line of dj mixers. i have never had any problems with their stuff.on the other hand i have no experience with the behringer stuff, i tend to avoid behringer products alltogether. |

i have a behringer dj mixer
this one :
http://www.behringer.com/02_products/prodindex.cfm?id=VMX200&lang=eng
i'm very happy with it...
their consoles may not be great but this new dj series they made is pretty decent (much better then the previous one) and it's within your budget
the sound is good, you have high quality faders, it's very flexible, i love the eq on it, the beat counters are useless and i preffer to work without those but so far i have very positive experience with vmx 200, if you need more channels go for the vmx 300
you don't need more then that...and why pay twice as much just for a brand ?

Thx for your help guys...
If I get a behringer its like the one leon posted about... I've thought about this one! But I've heard that there is a lot of cool featurues if you have cdj100s and a pioneer mixer... are those features soooo good? like start the players with the fader etc... |

if you can, getting the matching Pioneer mixer for your Pioneer cdj's is the best, they have the fader start option you talked about....other then that see for yourself :

if not behringer is a good alternative
hope i helped

it's comfortable but you can work without it... for me personally this one feature don't make it worth couple hundred $ more...
you should try and compare for yourself, there's other things in Pioneer that makes their mixers good, also depends what model (the djm 300/300s or 500 and so on) but they're not as affordable as other things out there
