Let's see...
The records button is for MIDI recording!
You need to choose a channel and press the records
button and press the buttons on your MIDI
keyboard:)

P.s

What synth do you own?

When the record button is depressed, any change you make in your knobs is recorded for 1-2 bars. that way, you create automations. you can use your midi keyboard to assign specific knobs on it to act as cut, res. and other controls. when you record, tweak those knobs and there you go.

editing thru the piano roll is good, but you have to be really accurate. u can use the LFO tool (left click on the piano box inside the piano roll, goto edit>LFO) which is pretty accurate and tweakable.

Why do I get a strange filling that this guy is
a "lie-lover" :)
If you have a synth you should know how to work
with audio, right???

Why would you work on fruityloops with a synth!
I worked on fruityloops when I had only the MC-505
groove-box (before the synth)!
After I got the synth I started to work with audio
So do you work with audio also?

you can press the rec. button and change the cutoff eso and any knob but dont use it, its better to click right button on it and select edit events and draw a graph of the knob change
