I wont to buy a sound card, whats better " TC Electronic Konnekt 8" or "Echo-Audio Audiofire 4"? |

For me the Audiofire 4 works great..bur i think the tc one is very good as well..maybe try to find some tests by big Audio magazines to find out more..but as i see from the tech specs i would say go for the Echo,because it got 128x oversampling wich gives the output filter more room and that is good for the D/A convertion process..

I want to buy echo audiofire 4 but id liek to know if i ther headphone output its the same as the main out, i need it to cue files in ableton live, its that possible with the echo soudn card???? i know i can dot iwth similar souncards like m-audio 410 but i dont like m-audio, motu and tc are out of my budget so echo seems the best option. |

er it does work fine...
you can check this out..

but its not that problem..like you just route the signal to the other two outs and do it like this...but the dedicated headphone out will not work i think..so its like just splittet from the main out and no seperate channel..so you have to go over the other two out..
