hey have the power remain mostly because of the dryness of the sound imself , but i see there at least 2 combo snare the usual its something like 64 stemp lenght in the matrix editor , put the snare 8/8
for ex
S=snare
K=kick
k---k---k---k---k---k---k---k---k---k---k---k---k---k---k---k

now for what i hear in the music , for ex , if the guy is using a sampler to make the beats he might have allready a preset with multiple snare , not only one like is usual
now if u want to make such type of work , add a sampler , make a edit , and past to that edit some snares (nice snares preference)after that u save then u open it on the sampler again
go to the matrix editor aligned on that channel were u have the sampler with the snares , make the same sequence i puted above
now the principal 8/8 use a nice snare strong one , but always the same , then for the outher ones, choose some more short ones with somme diferent tune, but choose the ones who fit with the outhers, then use not velocity for certain one , !
(only percursion) for u can wich ones u need more fast and strong than the outhers 
if u use logic i can explain detailed steps how u can do it

try something more compex like fe:
-----S----------s-------s-S~~~
k----k----k----k----k----k----k
k =kick
S = snare
s = second snare, quite the same like S but not exactly
~ = fast delay of the snare
try to fool around with the positioning of the last part and the delay, so that it will groove
