hi dudes...
a friend of mine is living in colognia hand has good connections to important persons of the german techno and electro-scene (he is also producing but not psytrance). he is working on an acidvinyl for a big german acidlabel and asked me to edit one track to join that vinyl with my influences. this vinyl will defenitly be pressed and i have a deadline until end of 30. march to finish my acidtrack.
the point is that i have never produced acid so i have to carry on. everyone here made simular experiences and could give me some advices how good acid sound for you, what good acid needs, and some things about basslineforms, speed, what works on floor and so on..?
thx! |

haven't listened to acid for a while but i guess it's still all about the tb-303,
tr-808 and 909 .
hardfloor is the king of kings so check their "acperience" album. my favourite hardfloor track is "mahogany roots".
my advice would be that you buy/listen to some new and classic acid/electro on the net so you get an overall impression of the sound. i think the style can varie from monotonous pumping to very groovy house influneced (the rhythm) booty shakers. the
bpm can varie too but i guess that if you stay between 125-140 bpm then it's all good.
i hope this answer helped you in some way

I think T.P. Heckmann's sounds could be a good push for your ideas |
