hi im sorry if this is an inapropriat question but i need help making....or rather understanding this sound.
I cant post it but its the first sound in my kinna music...by Eskimo, on his ballonatic part 2 album. I thought it was made with an lfo rate change but then realised very few vsts let you automate this so it kinna made it hard....i know its 2 sounds but im more instersted in how to make the rolling distortion ......sorry if im mubling but its kind of hard to describe.
For people without the song how can you get crisp distortion on a track....you know the kind when you can control every crisp little part of it.
Peace & hugs

U mean some "tr-tr-tr-tr" dist effects???
IF so, u just awnsered the question by yourself. Try to cut tiny little pieces of your track, and apply different distortion on them.

ps thats not what i meant but i will try any way....
What i meant is you know when you play a synth in a low octave with a saw signal you get a audible distortion at the peaks of the wave but as increse the octave it becomes less audible as the wave gets tighter.......i have tried using a harmony extracting both properties from each octave but it sounds a bit wrong. i was wondering if there is anyway to get the same effect in higher octaves
