Hello everyone

I need a little help from you . I'm working right now on my first project in Ableton (Just switched from Cubase 2 weeks ago) .

When I listen to this one , sometimes I love the simplicity of the tune but sometimes I feel that something is missing there .

I also never liked 10 minutes tracks but this one sometimes seems like too short .

Any other suggestion are welcomed

Please note that this track is not finally mixed and still not mastered

composition-wise, i think u didn t nail the structure of your track, that's why u r kinda lost. what is this track about?

start with the intro. think about it not as just a random pad / fx that everyone insert in the beginning of the track on the obligatory basis. with the intro u kinda send greeting message to your listener, that explains where the track starts and what atmosphere / mood it sets. after u add it you will definitely get at least 16 bars before u want to add snare and vocal fx.

@ 1:11 you are breaking the tension without letting the track to evolve enough. continue building up for at least a minute and a half or more.

that dubstep sound @ 1:30 doesnt have any clues and development in the track, therefore i would delete it and continue without it... or develop it to some dubstep part later on, which can be pretty kewl.

then again u start building the track up and break it in no time.

mixin-wise... well, hard to tell anything cause first of all u said it is not ready yet and also because there is no mixin at all i would definitelly change the snare, make it quiter, beef up the bass, change the kick... lots of work.
