yes it s all about how it s programed the notes ect ... but these synth tend to be very popular in commercial music.
for example lets imagine aalto would be more popular than sylenth (i think in the old day it would have been very popular) ,the music would be rather different i guess .. just some though |

well, sure. but that hardly seems like any reason at all to not use the synth.

for learning you need the easiest instant gratification kind of synths.. synth that are more easy to make sounding good than sounding bad , what sort of music you like/ make |

Diva if you ask me, freezing and changing accuracy modes for CPU usage.
Between Zebra and Sylenth, I love Sylenth, but Zebra, it just have that little more enough to settle with it

We're getting a bit off topic, but Kontakt is a sampler. A good one mind you, but a sampler.
Omni is a fully fledged and extremely powerful synthesizer with the additional capability of having a shitload of high quality samples that it can use instead of the DSP oscillators.
But its well under the $200 budget of the OP, and its also a pretty complicated synth but it was worth every penny of its $500 pricetag.

If you are new to synths, get Sylenth. You will always use it for some sounds in the future as well. One of the absolute best soft synths for basslines as well.
If you want to get deep and make sequences of mad modulation patches, Zebra is your weapon of choice for sure.

Sunrise Travellers - I tried to use MASSIVE for Psytrance but I just don't get how to make it sound good for this genre ( I find it great for dubstep basslines and trance stabs but I can't fit massive's sound to my music , especially for psytrance bassline )
PoM - I have some basic knowledge on Synthesis so I'm not starting from 0 right now . I have tried both Sylenth and Zebra 2 , but I find it really easy and FUN to make new sounds with Sylenth1 , Zebra is a bit complicated to me right now but I considering it as I hear only good things about it and I saw many tutorials that people make GREAT sound with it ( I think Zebra also is more Versatile and can suite my post-production needs and not only for Psy trance , but I just LOVE make basslines with Sylenth1 )
My real concern about Sylenth1 is that there wasn't any update since 2010 ( I think it's operating great right now , but my concern is about getting support on future OS's and DAW updates )
About HW , I found some NORD's in 2nd hand market in my country , would like to hear if it's worth to getting the following ones :
Clavia Nord Lead 1 Rack Expanded - 400$
Clavia - Nord Rack 2X - 550 $
NORD LEAD 2(Keyboard)- 625$
Nord Modular(RACK)- 450$
Thanks everyone for posting
