Need help identifying a lake in Ladakh.

Hello all. People have told me about a lake in Ladakh where it is believed that one can see images on its surface if one concentrates. It is supposed to have quite a spiritual aura about it.I would really be thankful if someone could tell me what the name of the lake is, and how one can get there. A few friends of mine are going to Ladakh soon and would really like to see it. Peace.

No... not Pangong Lake... which is really beautiful and famous as well ... i have seen pictures only though  ....there's this other lake there ...???

I think you talking about Tso Kar or Tso moriri ?
Two ways of approaching this lake, Jeep service from Leh to Tso moriri
Distance is 215 KM, If you are a foreigner then you need to aquire Permits from leh to approach this lake.. free of cost i think
2nd way is more adventurous,
Trek from spiti valley to ladakh ( Kibber to Tso Moriri) 7-8 days over 5600 meters Parang-La pass. Permits to be aquired again for this trek which are available from DC's office in Kaaza.
