Hello music friends

I have a problem now.I moved to a new flat.I makin a room for music. Its perfectly for music not too big not too short.I plan to make also a bit accoustic treatment ,an amateurish one with a help from some threads here, and I will make inside the room a smaller one for microphone accoustics, which is essential for me.But it wont happen in a nutshell.

I have a window and under the window is the radiator. And considering the radiator lies my problem. Ihave two massive tables, and want to connect them like an ankle ,one in front of the window (or radiator)the other aside
.
Can I have my stuff cables & co at like 5 cm in front of the refrigator?

If its not that good than I will make another table plan but I would feel comfortable cause of other components of the room with the ankle construct.Hope you get me... excuse me for grammar and jungle english.Any good advice would be vey welcome the sooner the better Peace

there is a few topics on accoustics already. Check those out. Most important: basstraps and early reflection accoustics.
realtraps.com also has alot of good info!

You mean radiator? Yes, you can, unless your cables are very crappy. Most cables have no troubles being near heat. Up to 60 degrees celsius should be no problem.           Triplag Music

you got 4 really big bass corner traps and 6 wideband absorbers for 215€

thats damn cheap..i got this set here at my home and am absolute satisfied for now..

just cover those with thin fabric and your almost done..           -------......-------...-..-..-..-.-.-.-.-

Zork thanks mate! I have saved this page already up from one of your comments wherelse
That convinced me the most from reading.
I will draw my room in the next real free time this can only help me for sure. It's very possible that the place to sit is wrong.
This all goes in my mind this times.
Thank you again.           https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden
