these are the companies that make relatively affordable synths they are all good machines for psychedelic music. my advice to you is to try them out and maybe check out what machines your favourite artists use. but remember that these are just machines they are only as good as the human operating them, good luck in your search.
p.s
i´m sure that there are tons of synths not mentioned here who are equally suitable so look around. |

As a good start you can buy a really good computer
and I'm talking about P4 2000Mhz and 512 RAM!!!
It's a good idea to buy it with a pro s.card,
Also get a good mixer (at least 16 channels).
This is a good way to spend about 2,000$.

geeee once again ....
u should look at it like that :
1.how much money u have ??
then try 2 follow :
-chooseing a sound card -
i would go 4 this first since the pc you'll buy
suppose 2 support the sound card .
(for example - we bought the special asus board
which creamware recomends )
ok now - the pc ....
as i said the money again .....
try 2 find a strong 1 .
i would buy in pices and save some money on build it myself ....
now .....
u have some money left ????
well what about some synth's ???
anyway in general - i rether work with real instruments then vst's - althow psyduck say hey can make a sound from vst that you'll die ....
so u gotta put the money on the table now man so we can really get into buissness ....

How those real instruments should be wired,
if not with a mixer?
For that my friend you will need a multi-channel mixer!
I recommend a 24 Channels mixer with dig I/O...

Buy a good s.card but not something too
expensive, try the Delta series or maybe
Aardvark Direct Pro 2496 and get a good
mixer to wire this mess!
