Cubasing is like Freebasing, just with audio.

Keep things covered when not in use.

Theres small pocket vacuum cleaners for PC's etc.. - try using those on your monitors once in a while. Just in the process of getting myself one too

In that case you should worry more about your health than the monitors ...           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

generally dust doesnt effect ones electrical gear in any negative way....

from my expierence,, i have had monitors and amps etc coated in dust (inside and out) and they have continued to function adequetly!

Just blast the montiors once in a while, they'll clean themselves!!

but i guess its a good idea to cover everything when you're not using your equipment.

cover everything when u don't use it, i do that too... And use a vacuum cleaner instead of a brush a brush throws up a lot of dust instead of removing it all... It removes most dust ofcourse, but a vacuum cleaner is much better.

yes ive had he same problem. untill i opened up my pc. omg. everyone should open there pcs once a month i belive to clean them inside because so much dust gets inside and settles. i had my comp for 2 years without opening it well i had to take most of it out to clean it nice because some dust settles and i had to use a spray and a toothbrush to get it all off. so now instead of cleaning it like that again i try to clean it every month to make it easier. i hate dust

The PC cpu fan causes air to be sucked into the PC and dust gets stuck all over everything, this is normal; and at some PC stores they use compressor to blow air very hard to remove the dust, but vacume cleaner can also work; with PC is off in case accidently touch something.           Cytopia.org

same here
just wipe it off some time
a gentle touch of wet cloth on your speakers won't hurt anything
