Hi just a call for some help, does anyone have any decor to lend out/rent for my night ephidrum at the honeycomb friday april 2nd, really want to make the place look shit hot, but got nothing myself so im on the scrounge, could the indigitous boys please get in touch, thanks so much. |

hey dude...don't really have any decor myself to offer you, but i would like to know if your organising an open party or is it just for certain people.What kind of a party is it?....if i may ask.

man someone must have som decor I can rent out cos ive got jack shit apart form two green pinpoint lasers which are very cool, but id like a little more, any replies greatfully received. |

however the owner is abroad in early april as it's his uni holidays

Man I'd love to help with your decor problem though being a traveler I have very little...
On the other hand I have helped out at a number of Aus Psy nights and cool stuff is quite easy to find and cheap.
I suggest looking in second hand shops, charity shops, art supply stores and anywhere 'arty' that might be throwing things away.
Bright fabric and even builders string (which typically comes in fluro colours) from a hardware store also make for good decor ideas as do paintings and paper mache.
It's amazing how much you can 'find' and rebirth with a little bright UV paint and some help from friends, it might also be good to look for things you know you'll be able to reuse over and over.

There is a guy based in Germany called Stephen Haal who does cheap decor. I bought some of my drapes from him, and though you wouldn't want them at a top london night they'll do the job for something like this.

He's a nice guy, doesn't charge much and gets them to you pretty quickly. Good luck. |

Before we'd got a full set of our own decor - we used to use Vicky Earthstar's stuff - which is pretty cosmic - its the Zodiac and cartoon tattoo type stuff you've probably seen at parties in london - try Accessallareas for a contact.
Theres a few folk in Sheffield who hire out decor - but sadly cannot see them being interested in driving all the way up to Edinnburgh.
If you *really* think you're going to get 6-800 - then why not get in touch with Tribe of Frogz - they do decor hire for a living!

The Martix Project in Wolverhampton do some good stuff as well.
Big problem is just the distance to Edinburgh from anywhere south of about Newcastle!!
