Hi dudes
I made this track a couple of years back, and my partner reckons its too dark and moody for him to produce.
So I wonder if anyone else would produce and pimp it up.
I like it, coz I like dark stuff.

i got live 7 and would to give it a shot,but i got no ultrafocus and even no atmosphere..so if you got a solution let me know..

in Hamburg/Germany..might be too uverdosed to send..couldn`t you just bounce that parts into audio?and let the midis in so that i can layer them or something?and did you work in session view or in arrangement view?

Started working in session, then moved to arrangement. All automations are done in arrangement. The project size rar'd is 50k. 2M unrarred.
I generally work in midi coz the file sizes for collab over internet are reasonable.
Bouncing down... hmmm, maybe I can do something like that then ogg the samples. |

yer..see what you can do..would be nice,or bounce just a few samples out..let them stay in the project..wouldn`t be that much space.then we could rearrange it..but if there are too complex parts wich you really wanna stay in the track then thats the only way i could work with..
but don`t mind..if its too much,then try to find somone else who got those plugs..

ok Ive bounced and ogged the unmodulated loops then reimported back into ableton with live effects. Almost identical to the original but 5Mb in size.
You guys will have to install the alp first which will install samples into correct places, then run the als which is the main project.

I just remembered the groove of the track changes from 16ths to triplets gradually for the main energy section and then back. And it does this using the ableton "global groove" setting. Which means everything looks like its in 4/4 time in midi, but its not.
Everything including The bass will play back correctly in ableton but cubase has no feature like that so it will not be able to compensate without bouncing the bass in ableton.
Also the bass is time shifted by 76ms. keep an eye out if it doesnt sound the same with a different patch.
Also to watch out for is that I set the delay effects on some of the channels to compensate for the timing change as well. Look in "ping pong" beat swing automation.
Also I didnt bother bouncing the bass. Just replace it. |
