I would like som artists opinions on internet downloads of music via FTP's and other sites/file shares.
Do you agree in any way with this system of music sharing as opposed to purchasing the music direct from a distributor?
Are you using new techniques to stop piracy of you music? If so what?
Is it illegal for DJ's to play copyrighted music at parties?
What happens if they get caught?
Are record lables making efforts to curb Piracy of musicians music signed to their lables?
Do any of you Artists mind your music being played and traded on the internet and at parties for free?
A sub culture has arisen in the trade and sharing of music on net, clamping down on this would destroy many parties and DJ's. What other approaches can be taken to resolve the loss to the Artists revenues?

but if its after they rellesed on complation or alboum so i dont really care...

well i think u wrong guys....
its depends.... if the track sold with some fat advance and no % from selling of cd so i dont care if it will be on ftp's and shit like that... but only after it was released. but from other side this way the lable fucked, so yes it bother me if its on net.
i think may be its okey to download to cd to listen beffor u spend 15 $ on a qullety cd, cuz now days so much shit released so ppl preffer to listen good beffor they spend mony on cd.... i think if the lables dont want to be F*#kd so they cannot f**k the ppl with shit realeses.....
and if the track sold with advance and % from selling of cd im very very care if its on net. cuz its my money after all, this is the money thats go to sutudio and thats the money we make muzik with!
