I use the S5's and I think they are pretty damn good for wat they are. Nice, crisp, punchy and clear. However they can sound a little boxy at higher volumes and it may be worth splashing ot a little extra for the S8's which are just as clean but with a lttle more punch.

Alesis are peak resistant and durable as hell. So far they went trough all kind of tortures including thunders, sudden bursts of extremely loud noise, power loss, hot and moist room conditions... and they still work as they did the first day. I don't know if they sound better than S5 or not but they should last you a long time without much worrying about them.           "It occurred to me by intuition, and music was the driving force behind that intuition. how can you say it's very reliable if you used it only for 1 day?
