185$ is not much for an audio interface. I'm sorry to say but I would change the configuration of the system to save some money in favour for a bigger budget for the audio interface. I know it sounds stupid, cause you already spent a lot of time on the configuration but imho for such a good computer you need as well a good interface. 
You can find a lot of information about interfaces here in the forum. What you should buy depends on what you need... how many In/Out, Midi, internal/USB/firewire...
