i stand behind my words, you'll see me dancing in any weather, as long as you got good fresh air coming in.
i had my fare share of both kinds and freezing doesnt bother me like the bad vibes you get in clubs.

I'll come in the cold weather but not in the rain...

to ask is a good idea, but the number of people who replies here, is not a factor for you to know if the right number of crowd will come.
from my expirience last week i learned that no matter what you do, you have something like 40% less people from all trance crowd in israel, who's not interested in outdoors during winter time.
if after that caculation you still think you'll get to the right amount of people to come, i say go for it, i'll come for sure but this forum is not a good scale for that matter imo...

trancedance! rain or shine! i went to a festival and it rained for 3 days on and off. after the initial scramble to salvage things from the water you realise they will dry again another day. right now is time to play and dance. it was probably the highest energy dance floor i've been in. soaking wet crowd. very beautiful and appropriate of the symbolic cleansing of my spirit.

Rain?
Its normal.
Here in Japan during the spring, summer and fall season in 2006, it rained at pretty much 70% of all outdoor trance and progressive parties. Its a totally normal thing, and while its not the best, it OK.
In fact, the "Gathering 2006," by Vision Quest had hard core rain and cold weather the whole three days of the festival. But people still had a killer time.

i celebraite my last birthday in a tent & it was raining in some parts of the party .
and i can say that was a realy graet party with 250
frinds and the rain didnt interrupt anyone.

Well, you're talking about festival and it's different.
I guess that I'll defenitely would come to some festival to dig in the rain & to hear some big stars from all over the world...
But we're talking about party in Israel and it's not the same thing.
I don't see the reason come to hear in the rain the same artists that playing here every week and I think that is a risk to bring some artist from abroad to play in the rain
