Hi there..

I'm about to buy a new Soundcard for my Notebook this week (for my Live Act). I will also use it for my Desktop-Computer (I work with Cubase SX 2, no external devices or instruments except a microphone, and maybe a guitar sometimes)

I want it to be USB 2.0 (got my reasons) and have narrowed my choice down to these two;

NI Kontrol;

and

E-MU 0404;
http://www.emu.com/products/product.asp?category=610&subcategory=611&product=15185&nav=features

I get them both for the same price (Kontrol is a bit more expensive, but I get discount on that one, so I pay the same for both of them).
Does anyone have personal experience with these two? Any recommendations?

Best wishes,
Human

I'd suggest taking your notebook with you & giving them both a test run to see which one is the most stable..

I have no experience with either one but the NI kontrol looks nice!           http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic
