I think I'm in love! The ReMOTE SL is beautiful..

Though it costs about 750 EUR in Sweden (61 keys).. not very student-friendly as so to speak...            Aural transmissions from the deep forests of Sweden

I tested the core ...and i have to say it's amazing ...it's very different system then the Novation Remote ...

I have the X-Station at home ... and i thought to buy the core as well ...
It's very genius ...

A Novation Remote with DSP that could run VSTis would be... handy.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

Novation Remote or Novation Remote SL?

Hmmm so the novation SL automatically configures your VSTi's as soon as you load them? No more freaking generic remote setups?!

I think the big difference is :

In the Core u can writhe down for example :
"Superfat Bass" ... and it will search u a few bass presets from different Native Instrument Synths ...

So may it is possible that the Core does u a bass preset with the subbass from the Prophecy and the more highsound from FM7 ...
So u have 2 plugs running in the sametime but u hear just one Bass (mixed out of those 2 SOunds )...
both Plugs will run on the DSP from the Core ... so no CPU use ...

And i thought the Remote has just Templates for VST Synths like the X-Station has ...
Not automatic assing for all VST's ...

Yes Core does that but uses cpu power, it doesn't have dsp.

Simon,
the Novation Remote SL (note the SL qualifier) automatically re-maps all the controllers in supported hosts (Cubase, Ableton Live, Logic, Reason etc.) as soon as you select a new VSTI.

Bill
