Hi. I recently installed this VST to check it out, and i like it, almost understand everything in it but one thing... why does it creates so many channels in the mixer?
I have:
-B3 MASTR
-B3 M 3
-B3 aux1
-B3 aux2
-B3 aux3
-B3 aux4
-B3 unassigned1 to 13
My mixer is a complete mess after battery and i don't know where to turn them off or send them away, any help would be apreciated! Thanks! |

It creates loads cause of the options you have.
There's two ways i think... For taking them out...
1st
Go to battery and press file--->options and then on the right hand side you can choose how many outputs you have...
2nd
In the main mixer.... In each channel you dont want to be displayed press on the little arrow just on top of the panning (right) that says " Can Hide" and then go to the left of the mixer and press on the button which looks like two crosses on the bottom, this way everything you hide will be hided....

what about cpu? it is just a matter of routing, setting up multiple outputs instead of one eats hardly any cpu. battery needs to route all cells to outputs, it does not really matter to which one.

this way battery is set up to use one master stereo output, one mono output and 4 aux sends (for reverb or delay, for example). check out options and set your outputs the way you like them. but remember, these settings are global and will be used for every project you use battery for. for example, i use 8 stereo outputs (no mono or aux outputs at all), and if i use only 4 or 5 in i use hide function in cubase mixer.
