Native Circuit in association with Gaian Mind present:
Vayeb: Day Out Of Time Festival July 22 to July 26, 2010 Colorado
Join us for 4 days and 4 nights under the high mountain open sky as we celebrate the portal that is the Mayan Day Out Of Time (DOOT). We come together to dance, create, explore and share during the auspicious Mayan New Year.
The Native Circuit collective is honored to be collaborating with Gaian Mind this year on Vayeb.
As our family comes together our native potential as a circuit expands.
Location:
We are blessed this year to be gathering at the Santa Fe Community School property right outside of Crestone, CO. The festival grounds consist of grassy dance floors, cottonwood tree guardians, a creek that flows down to us from the tops of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, and views that just may make you cry. If you're not attending the workshops that will be offered at Vayeb, day hikes are a beautiful option.
Leave No Trace:
Leave No Trace (LNT) is the practice of "pack it in pack it out" that requires a complete sensitivity to the earth. It is a technique based on personal responsibility of one's actions relating to and resulting in generating refuse and impacting the land. It is a conscious approach to realizing the impact man has on our planet and adjusting his/her actions accordingly.
Workshops:
We are looking forward to offering many intelligent workshops this year. If you have a workshop that you would like to present at Vayeb, please contact us with the name of your workshop, a brief description, and any other pertinent information. We will get back to you.
Vending:
We are accepting a very limited number of vendors. If you are interested in vending, we will have a form up on the site soon for you to fill out. Until then, contact us via email. Please include the nature of your products/services as well as your booth requirements. We will give favor to green and fair trade vendors.
Art Installations:
We encourage you to bring art installations. If you are interested in setting up an installation, we will have a form up on the site soon for you to fill out. Until then, contact us via email. Please include the nature of your art piece as well as your requirements. We will give favor to self-sufficient installations.
Volunteers:
These events can not be enjoyed with out the the noble volunteer work from a great many of you. Please offer as much of your time as possible. We literally can't do it with out you. Please contact us and join our fabulous crew for a ribald good time. We also offer work trade opportunities. Please note that all volunteers will be required to purchase a full price ticket. The cost of this ticket will be refunded after all volunteer shifts are completed.

id love to see onnomon play again! plus lotsa new people (new to me) from my homeland hehe louisville pride! i was born in colorado moved to pa then oregon haha so this is like a connect the dots of my geographical life so far.

We are on a very similar path just rearanged.
Our paths have got to cross eventualy lol.
For those who dont know..., Kauze-N-FX is my wife and I when we play together, if you missed us at Gaian Mind last year this will be a good one to catch us out in full FX. Ya Endo we dident get to chill at all last time you came up, we were so burned out from moving that day, right after play'in I was ready to sleep and if D had not drove me home Id have been a sleep on the cold warehouse floor.
We shall kick it and reflect on the days in time...
I hope the weather is brought with you, I bet its getting nice in AZ by now.
