Hi there Powercore users,
is there any native alternative to the Character Plugin around? I use that plugin as if there is no tomorrow. But sometime in the future I will have to upgrade my system and will not have enough PCI slots to use the Poco any more.. but I cannot see me living without this plugins it is simply the tits!!

I have a poco in my PC, but no Charakter License. Is it worth to buy? How do you use it?
If I read the facts about the charakter vst, it must be an enhancer. You can test the Spectralive Crysonic enhancer, the Sonic Sweet from BBE or the SPL Vitalizer...

hi zero,
yes it is an enhancer, but so far it is quite unique for me compared to others. i have tried the ones you mentioned but they are nowhere the same as the character.
this plugin has some seriously deep "eye opening" effects and can be used in many different ways. you can make sounds and busses shine bright or give kick/bass combos some oomph depending on the control settings, very versatile although it takes time to find out how to use (and not mis/over - use it).
so it is much more versatile than the bbe enhancer, soundwise in an other league than the crysonic thingy, the closest thing would be the spl vitalizer so far, maybe i have to dig deeper into that..
basically i am in love with that thing so please help

The Sound from the video promo clip of the noveltechaudio homepage for the Charakter
reminds me a little bit of tweaking a bass with the PSP Vintage Warmer...!? |

Kinda strange that french web page, anyway, gonna check it out!
Cheers for that, seems there is some other weird stuff to fiddle with among that as well
