Check all of native instruments VST's (FM7, ABSYNTH, Pro52 Etc' ) they'r great, The New Moog is good, Pentagon is good (old but good ), for drums go to the LM series (i know LM4 and LM7 - both good) - but those are just instruments, and there r ALOT more. there are ALOT of vst effect-proccessors, just search for an effect, u'll get tons of this lying around... Reverb, echo, flanger, phazer, nice vocoders ( the new vokator.. rox! ), etc etc etc...
BUT! why dont u use Cubase together with reason?... u can use the drums, loops, intruments of reason in cubase using rewire... the best way!!

try vst samplers like Kontakt or Batery their cool..
its like the drum machine in reason but without the sequencer you have to build the groove in the qubase.

No reason to drop Reason behind.
Just Rewire the Cubase to Reason and you won't need to look for another instruments. Even though Reaktor, FM7 and Absynth could help. Reason Drum machine is great.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me
