There is a lead on this track which are sort of most prominent around 4:32 and forward to around 5 something.
Kind of like an acid lead with reso and dist but it sounds much more organic than I can get close to. Is it both a lowpass and a bandpass? What else? Is there a pitchbend on it too?
I guess it is a mixed matrix cutup with different effects on different cuts?

snowdogg: yeah it is a squelch, but it has something to it. I am thinking it is cut up in different zones and each zone has a different plugin but I cannot really make somehthing that sounds as organic. Mine sounds a little too artificial/ two dimensional to be interesting.

maby make the fx more subtle, i dont hear much difference on each iteration but the first has more reverb and delay. looking at it pitchbend up and back down, sine wave LFO

I think the common slang for the sounds you are searching for is Psyfart.. and there's been topics about this before.
Id say start off playing something in the verry low octaves, so you distinguish each transient, then go for pitch bend and filter modulation. Top it of with spatial effects (delays and reverbs)
Regarding the filter setting, well not each fart is the same.. use different filter types and slopes and build something unique for each set of farts, like Ableton Live 9 EQ8 new features of a fab filter VST.
Also, you can have a lot of fun and get great results if you then record this and you mangling with the effects for a couple of minutes, making tons of different farts, and chopping the guys up in different ways.. hey I can assure you that you can actually make all the main leads half an album with just one good couple of minutes take with this, depending on your sample processing skills.

I did not pull on the distortion much though. I don't know what to say other than I get stuck when I go from the sound sample to actually using it other than the tonal/ pitch/ temporal fit (that is to say cutting it up maybe?).
It does not sound bad, it just sound... a bit lame if you catch my drift.

It doesn't sound like the best thing in the world, but it's a good starting point
Now take that audio and chop it up in a musical way, manipulating it.
After you get something, you can resample it again and mangle with it again, recursively forever..

Hey, do you know which program this AndyPsyTutorials use for making those videos by recording his desktop with small picture of himself.. or any other similar program? I need to make something for my school, so this idea would be useful.
