well well, the 2nd nagisa this year.. huge huge crowds, 8000-10000 prob.. 5 stages during the day in odaiba. got there around 3-4 ish.. long lines & a bag check.. (no bottles and stuff allowed!!) owell.. & those free tickets for those wiskey shots? personally i was happy, but some of my friends got a little protest from their stomachs after that.. i mean, sorta stiff to start drinkin durin the day with a strong wiskey as a starter.. but nevermind tht.
anywayz, as for the sounds!
sorry no way to describe everything, so only things that are left in my mind..
uni was definitely in top form, their melodies are super special to me, naki-kei (kind of melodie that brings tears to ur eyes).. andrew till from australia was a pleasant surprise, his set near those speakers, mmm.. delicious the way he makes the bass vibrate in all kinds of different modes..
at tha chill tepee (the one with the solstice 'archaic revival design on it) there was a lady (venus fly trapp?) playin some mashed up crzy stuff, a refreshing break from the usual four-to-the floor for the whole time bizness.. some of her mixes were brilliant.. real mind-bending soundscapes. & of course, psy stage was the one with always the most people..(wish they had a d&b/ragga/jungle stage as well!)
francois K played good, though didn't listen too long cuz he was playin the same time slot as xavier.. &&! xavier was the finale man for the day, definitely kickin the hard pumpin beats, what a powerful set!! can't wait for his 6hr long dj set in cube next friday!!
all in all, a very nice day event, soo amazing to see all those wacked out, freaked out heads gathered in the middle of tokyo just havin a matsuri.. ended waay too early for me.. was sorry to leave.
