Hello,
We are looking for a new logo design for the label.
We decided to have an open to all contest, with very simples rules :
Design a new logo for NABI-records.
Text : NABI-records
Size : Minimum 10 cm/ cm Any Shape, any PRINTABLE (cmjy) colors…
All participants should send their work by email to : contact@nabi-records.com , Subject : LOGO CONTEST, in Jpg format (high quality) before October 31th, 2005, with your artist name, your email adress and your postal adress.
All artworks will be exposed online on the label website.
Winner will be announced on November 5th and will receive a copy of ALL Nabi-records releases + a first price of 100 $.
Logo designs that came in position 2 & 3 will get 1 free copy of our new release.

Good luck and let your imagination flow free : we are one of the few without any limits….

I haven't done it...
(lack of time - great excuse dosen"t it..)
But would like to know if anyone participates in this new thing = "open logo contest".
(I just saw another one posted in this forum...)
so...
how many of you did it ?

Because of many requests, the contest is beeing hold for 1 more month.
All infos as well as the allready received logos are online on our new website.

Go check www.nabi-records.com...all logos wa received so far are in the data bank area... Since you have 1 extra month, maybe you could get started to do one...
Or you gonna have another great excuse ? He he he

Hey Emmanuel,
This time - I would do it…
But,
Just before I started design something,
I thought about doing it right…
Started thinking of a shape ,a concept, an idea, - was thinking to my self :
is it 3d thing or 2d ?, what do I need to say ?, who is nabi ? What kind of new felling you up to ? what is all about ?
I thought about it and figured up,
That I don’t know enough about NABI RECORDS -to desgin a good/best logo.
Please Emmanuel,
As we got a month delay (less, I know)
Just give us 5 (or more) unique sentences about NABI_RECORDS.
Anything that matters…

Hey Bro....
Good to have you in the contest.
So here is some clues, hope they will help you as well as the others....
1) 2D/3D: As you want, just remember the logo will be used on CD Covers, T shirts, stickers and website of course...so It should be "readable" for all type of support.
2) We don't look for anything "Traditionnal"... The name can be really small is the Logo is really stong ;-)
3)WE release HEAVY PSYCHEDELLIC MUSIC (not to say the most heavy).... so we look forward for something really strong and really trippy.
4)We believe than anything can have a impact on the mind and be "psychedellic"... Graphic design included...
5) "NABI" as many different meanings, from Prophet in the old testatment to Butterfly in Korean.... So I guess we believe in prophecy and in the fact that a small butterfly wing flap in Europe can creates a major hurricane else where.... But we expect pple to give to our label their OWN definition....whatever it might be...
6) Last and None the less: We are within the very few labels to have the balls to release talented unknown artists for the first time...
So.... did that help or does it mkes it even more confusing?
