MYTHEMATICA is audio breeding and cultivation lab of rock-crystal sounds, which brings to your ear another sublime, deep, fizzy sharp as far as chilly, sporadicaly dusty and transparent partly orange tales of tranquillity. From moss and fern it cames bringing freshly weaven and with love trued "oink" sounds, "pitipa" melodies and "tampatynk" rhythms.
This electromagnetic circus is guided by Daniel Špaček, mediumatik, psychozoic illustrator. By sudden shift of hue a composer of Mythematica album.
And icebergs are melting...

Milan Malík & Alisa Shutova
Milan, aka 000333, collegue from Mimo-TV, psychedelic artist and visualisator. Together with Alisa Shutova they painted huge inside booklet for Mythematica album. Many characters and environments, representing the trip with an album. The white mythematician, our family frend, appearing in the booklet was dressed by Barka Špačková.

Album released April 6th on Quazi Delict Records (The same record label that released 'Floex - Pocustone') in Prague, Czech Republic. Digital album purchase is available on iTunes, emusic, Amazon, and probably some other online shops. The cd itself appears to currently only be available through mail order from the Czech Republic, but it consists of a 24 page booklet of wonderful artwork, so worth picking up. Maybe there will be more distributors soon. I randomly discovered this album on emusic, and I must say I think it's quite a gem, something special. Fascinating mix of styles as well as electronic and natural instrumentation. Great sound quality. Has anyone else checked this one out? You can listen to audio samples at the online shops, or at Mythematica's website, www.mythematica.com . Enjoy!! |

I will see them live next weekend at the Chilout Festival in the Czech Republic (where I perform as well). These guys have the best videos I have ever seen. A group of VERY MUCH talented artists. Highly recommended!

Got it this week.
It's a very colorful album.
A short, emotional sonic tale about delicately psychedelic fantasy landscapes.
A very interesting fusion of styles.
All in all, quite individual, well produced and very enjoyable from start to end.
Comes with wonderful artwork as well.
