Bom Shiva!

I would like to ask if anybody still has the original CD of Mystery of the Yeti (Part 1). Inside the CD was a two page story, explaining the meaning of this musical story.

If anybody has the CD please make a scans of this story.

Peace!

I really LOVE this one. Totally the psychedelic vibe that got me into this whole scene. This is part of why I respect Raja Ram so much.

And I always loved that cover with the Yeti, you can see a ufo in the background.

"welcome everbody from this earth and all extraterrestial beings if there are any, and I hope there are"

ya mon!!! GOOD VIBES

Along the same vibe is this other Tip CD:

hey!

i have discovered a few years ago that they have sampled many extracts from this CD : "Instruments de Musique du Monde / Musical Instruments of the World", coming from an ethnomusicologic record collection (Le Chant du Monde / CNRS) who was created by Gilbert Rouget, the man who also have wrote the anthropologic book "Music and Trance: A Theory of the Relations Between Music and Possession"...

Hey drucdrac thats interesting info! Have to check this source up.Only from curiosity what this is.Indeed the older releases are so great. My favourite ambient album is still celtic cross (apart from fsol cause ima fsol addict .And all that old ones are simply brilliant.I myself like it alot more than the new shpongle stuff.Compositions are real dreamy movies.

What he calls trance in his book is very different than what we call trance, which he defines as ecstasy(and doesn't deal with it in depth). It's an interesting book with a lot of interesting info, but I have found that a lot of his definitions and assumptions are very problematic and artifical.
