I've read somewhere that it's a hit-and-miss. MySpace screws it up when it re-codes your file to their specifications. Try uploading a different version of the same file (different kbps). I even read somewhere here that problems disappeared after re-uploading the same file. Never tried any of it myself. |

Surely the best bet would be to find out what they stream at, and encode your mp3 to that bitrate?
I've had this problem once on soundcloud though, one of my songs get re-coded terribly, had to take it down again. But on the second upload it was fine.

Myspace is known for their horrible sound encoders and players.
Quite ironic, since they most of build themselves on artists and labels and music, since Facebook won them on the "regular" users social networking.
I really can't understand how a multimillion dollar company can't get a proper sound player, and make it easy for artists to upload their music.
