spam? hm, sometimes ... it doesnt annoy me ... but what really annoys me is facebook .... everyday those mass-emails, which i DONT get at myspace so far ... its good that the "event" section is seperate from the private messages in myspace.
and myspace is doing good by preventing spam in my opinion.
the only concern i have is about the man who bought myspace ... I*******i's everywhere

for me it is a usefull tool. i dont need to run a special site - all info on my projects can be found there.
spam? well, its just another place that has spam. like anything else. however myspace offers some nice tools that help to get rid of receiving spam in 90%. anyways i can easily tolerate this.
and if someone pays *too* much attention to buleting boards (and spam), well, maybe its better to close browser and go for a walk in the forest or city park?

first of all
myspace page looks terrible , lot of "fluffy" content , tons of code , images, sounds loading per page
we have profile like a team , but i think that this is a very goooood place for free promo  and lot of SPAM I'm using this page for this.
And I really prefer the old school artists pages

i would love to have my myspace blog remain as my main blog relating to my music projects.... just a shame all the spam and crap that goes on there, myspace lost all credibility with people, shame.

Myspace as well as Facebook both suck and I mostly dont bother to check the profile of any artist or project as long as they do not have it anywhere else except myspace.. If you are a respected artist, you shouldn't depend on sites like myspace or facebook or other social networking sites..!
Myspace takes ages to load a page for people who are using a slow connection.. for example WiFi.. wireless data cards etc. These days getting some dedicated space or a good server and buying yourself a domain name isnt that costly.. so why depend on myspace or facebook for promotions?
IMHO, facebook is no better than myspace and full of junk apps which you need to fwd to 20 ppl before you can actually use them..
Myspace was a good way of promoting yourself... NOW its not.
