Just thought I'd share this working loop. It would be from the more climactic parts of the tune. If you don't have a frame of reference for style, listen to either of my last 2 uploads and you'll get the 'psystep' idea.
Couple of things I want advice for:
1) The snare. It's a layered snare and I have heard it for too long to judge if it's decent or muddy and lost in the mix.
2) Rolling hihats... would you add them in for the peak of the tune?
3) Can anyone hear the bass with that enormous lead on top of it? I know the sub is still very clear but the sawtooth wave's higher harmonics get completely lost in the mix. Do y'all think a square wave would sound tolerable? I just hate the sound of 'em for bass, but I a/b'd it and it really cut through the mix a LOT better.
Dance, even if you have nowhere to do it but your living room. ~Kurt Vonnegut

1. It is a bit weak and muddy, but it is still working. My advice is to finish the track and then see if the snare is a subject to change or not.
2. Maybe shaker?
3. Sawtooth lead is fine.
