Hi all,
If you all could be so kind to listen to this short set of mine and constructively give me input.... most of it is what I played at the TDC festival ... this set is best served if you are geshtunken flucked.

I personally dont know the track names - Im one of those people who remembers track numbers on a CD rather than track names  so ill give you the artist names or cd names...

Interesting first track (where is it from?)
Nice transition into Missing
But then...
I am not saying you did a poor job mixing Pink Floyd into Jaia. I am saying that noone should ever try mixing those two songs ever again.
Will listen to the rest later, am in the mood for reggae now.

Furthur the first track is an improv project called shakti - its mainly a combination of Zakir Hussain (on tabla) and John McClaughin (on guitar) .... watching them live is an experience in itself that really cannot be described in mere symbols used for communication. I wasnt really concentrating on the mixing - more like felt the need to share this set. I one of those who beleives that chill out cannot really concentrate on mixing so much ... wait till you get to the next jaiai track - its a real train wreck (hehehehehe) |
