Well.... my left speaker is starting to give me...  all sorts of uhgm.... noises.

The bass is really dying.

I need a new set of speakers or maybe i should buy a stereo and plug my line out into it.

Ideas? Sugestions?

Anything that can make this speaker which has served me very good for the last 3 years live a bit longer? :)

The debugging is very simple:
1. try same speakers on another computer which works perfect
if the same thingy, then buy new speakers
2. about new speakers..i am not professional in it
i have my own 360w pmpo and very satisfied, however nowadays there are very good speakers of miscrosoft or any other company (forgot its definition name) looks very small but has WOW sound.
costs little bit expensive more then 1000 nis
3. the simpliest..connect your Stereo to computer and use Video channel..my friends do it a lot;)
then no needs in speakers..also try NFS sounds...awesome;))))

Cambridge p.c sound works are the small 1000 nis+ speakers u mentioned.

They own... and just for your knowledge they are only 1000+ *in israel*

Stupid israeli tax... a local ars can come up with more than them.

the 4.5 model ( i think) costs about 150$ in portugal... i would have brought them with me but the package was bigger than me :) ( 6 speakers+center+controller)

just grab that oldskewl amplifier lying around in ur basement (ask ur daddy you have one for 99.9% sure) dust it off, and connect it to you output.
Then use some old speakers which are suppose to be graved behind all the junk in the basement, or just order a rather cheap stereo speakers and have phun!.

Bom, Sambusak.

Man...youre looking in a totally wrong place...
The ONLY way to really enjoy PC sound is to connect the line out to a stereo system.
Im connected to a 360w (rms!!!) Onkyo amp with two 3-way 200w speakers and let me tell u- its amazing!!! If u have an SB-live with a real set of speakers its another story...
Bottom line: Connect your PC to the stereo!!!
