I just buyed a totally new computer to create music on, 1024 drr ram, 300 gb, 3700 mhz and the newest Creative X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity, there shout not be a problem, but when i click at my keyboard to get my sound is takes 1 sec ca. before the sound is coming..
The drives and all is installed right, what can the problem be?

Try install asio drivers or adjust the latency if you allready have it installed

u have too much latency!
if u have installed the asio drivers correctly then u have to adjust the setting for latency.
but tell us which program u use to tell u how!

go to devices -> device setup. then go to vst autobay and you have the option to change the master ASIO driver. choose the correct one (less latency, test to see it it plays something), not the ASIO Multimedia Driver or the ASIO DirectX something. if you don't have others get ASIO4All http://www.asio4all.com/ but i doubt you'll need it if you have all the drivers for xfi updated. |
