Hello freakzzzz,,,
I´m having trouble to set up my roland jx-8p with my Logic,, I turn it on, load my Logic, select an instrument track,,then when I play at my roland keyboard, it doesn´t make nothyng,,,can anyone help me? tahnks.
PS: sory about my bad english

You need to use an audio track to record/listen to an external sinth
In the mixer window:
choose the audio track u want,
put it in stereo,
select in the inputs that correspond to your sinth,
press the record button in the audio channel,
choose a folder where to record your sounds to,
Ok, now the sinth should be making sound and able to record...
now, if u want to record it to audiofile press record in the transport/arranje window
hope this could help
