hey dude,

well, honestly theres something you can start with, but in my humble opinion this track is far from beeing finished. theres so much you can do and so much space left that just wants to be filled. work on percussion, play around with their velocity and create groove. change that groove. use the tools you got. play around with your synth. change parameters and record that. if you got no knobs you got a mouse and overdub function in your daw.
i dont want to judge things, cause i dont feel that track finished you know. so saying anything about those parts now is not possible, cause that might change drastically when you add sounds and change few things here n there. also i dont feel to judge the mix, cause any further work would effect that aswell.

no offence pls, i know about your frustration. just some sincere points of mine you may take or leave. create energy in your work and guide that energy consciously. be that interface between you and technology that your music needs. create a bond and feel what you´re doing.

that beeing said i feel somehow you got a maybe kinda distorted perception on that mastering thingy. it will never in any way save something you missed. no surgery, your track should sound like you want it to sound without any premastering process, even without anything on your master. make it to your goal and any engineer will be pleased at the end to work with your material cause he/she can focus on work out the candys of your stuff instead getting on a rescue mission, saving what can be saved.

now you can be sure you will benefit a lot in A/B ing your track to stuff you know and like. get to know your speakers, whatever you´re using. and remember to adjust the gain accordingly while comparing. sure a mastered track is "louder", thus surely will catch your ear. put it back until you meet the gain of your track and compare.

i honestly feel you´re on your way, just dont rush things, dont be lazy and go for it. really no offence, just my sincere 2 cents that might get you some forward. go for it and make some crazy shit, i know you can do that, it just is some frikking hard dotwork. but a dot is not that hard right?

cheers bro, all the best and keep it going!           FUCK GENRES, LOVE MUSIC!!!!
