Hi all,

so I tried to incorporate vocals for the first time, its not like someones singing the entire track, but poor Beyonce was mangled in the process of making this track. Let me know what you think!

Aje, SPOT ON!

the track is delicious from beginning till end , vocals and fx you used on them suit perfectly the mood and the sonic scenario.

The force is strong in this one

I love this! Woooaaahhhyeah!

Beautiful, haunting, I love the lush reverbs and lofi feel - huge Burial / Breakage style sound.           Dance, even if you have nowhere to do it but your living room. ~Kurt Vonnegut

Thanks guys, I really appreciate your nice comments

And funny that you mention Burial, loki, because I started this track out by loading Burials remix of Paradise Garage by Massive Attack into Cubase and then trying to recreate the "skeleton" and overall vibe of that track. At some point I threw it out of course and took it into another direction, but nice to hear that you can still feel that vibe.

And the lush reverbs are only thanks to this beauty:

Thanks!

About the singer, my first choice before mangling the Beyonce samples was to get my little nephew in the studio, he`s 2 and a half, and have him sing a childrens song to me in his cute voice, because I thought that would sound trippy as hell over those beats. But then he refused to sing into the microphone, he wouldnt even talk into the microphone. And usually he talks and sings 24/7 without stopping...

Maybe I have to go hang out in front of one those casting shows and tell the girls who walk in there that I`ll turn them into a star           Check out my album: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/gay-satanic-hippie-tiefenrausch

Nice
Just helped my missus do her own remix of this...it was part of her learning the ropes in Logic and getting started programming the x0xb0x for her 1st acid bassline.
Not going to post the remix in here in order to not be a c@nt.

Peace out.

Thanks!

@DH: Yeah, I got those vocals from the remix contest, but I`m not gonna enter, that site where you upload your remix is totally ridiculous "I`ll vote for you if you vote for me" or "This remix is cool, can you now go and vote for mine"...

And I think I found your gf`s remix, I guess its the one with 303 in the title, hahahaha, if so I really dig it, definitely the best from all the ones I listenened to on there...           Check out my album: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/gay-satanic-hippie-tiefenrausch
