a thread I have opened with the title: 2C-I has been deleted recently by the moderators.
You may find interesting the fact the subject I wanted to discuss has been recently covered by some well respected journals like UK's mixmag & The Economist (this phenomena is significant enough to reach The Economist!).
pretending to have higher moral standards then the journals I have mentioned can be seen as ridiculous arrogance. |

mate, its like this.. the guidelines of the forum say no discussion of drugs. now, fair enough, occasionally things get close to crossing the guidelines and are left. however, your thread was clearly in breach of them and hence deleted. I don;t see why the fact that it is discussed in the economist is of _any_ importance at all, newspapers are full of politics stories and the bible full of religion and both of these are not to be discussed on the forum either. In future it would seem wise to check that what you are planning to post is in line with the wishes of the forum _owners_ (think of it as editorial policy ) before you write it..
and..um.. the last sentence of your post.. is.. perhaps a tiny bit presumptious no?

I dont mind being ridiculously arrogant when I'm right.
It has nothing to do with moral standards (I dont have any ) but with the GuideLines (check that redish link at the top of this page)

The Israeli Palestinian conflict is all over any newspaper you open. Why don't we start discussing it on the forum as well?
We have a few rules here - one of the reasons why this is one of the biggest forums alive around today:
No politics talks
No religion talks
No drugs talks.
Pls respect it.

And anyways - if you want to find out about a drug, try www.erowid.org - they have a huge amount of information about 2C-I and other substances. If you're looking for information here, it will not be nearly as objective.

I konda agree with the dude up there - this issue wasn't about dealing drugs, wasn't about promoting it, and lets face it, however we would like to deny it, this music is related to hallucinogenic drugs, so lets stop being hipocs.
Stop with this politically correct thing - ppl in the trance world, because of the closeness to drugs, should have information available to them so they know more about these things.
Banning constructive discussions about drugs is not the proper way to deal with this issue, its only brooming it under the carpet - are you afraid that someone will come and close the forum because ppl are acknoledging the existance of drugs and discuss about them? If someone is posting irrelevant replies about drugs or dealing, then I understand erasing his/her posts, but deleting an whole topic that comes to inform and maybe enlight/help ppl to deal with this new thing is a wrong move.
cheers,
A

This forum is about Trance Culture and Music.
Ppl who want more info about drugs can read erowid, and if they feel the need to discuss it, Im sure they can find a drug-related forum. like http://www.drugs-forum.com
End of discussion.
