Dubwise rhythms and electro groove merge with atmospheric synths, trance inducing beats and melodies. You have entered the domain of Zero One, the sonic entity of Kevin Dooley of San Bruno,California. With handsome cover art by Cameron Akhunaton, this disc looks as good as it sounds! The music inside is well produced and constructed as the listener's mind and body are transported to another dimension.
Here are a few highlights: Track 2,"Robots",with the killer vocal sample "They're trying to make robots of us." Electronic percussion and synth bass mesh in a marching rhythm, as bell like tones and synth steel drums float above waves of string sounds. Blissful! Mechanized whirring sounds give way to a prancing synth melody,twisting and circling... where past,present,and future meet in "Continuum". Track 5, "Transformation" has chilled beats anchoring synth vibraphone sounds ,as the song morphs into a sort of swirling pygmy electro funk. Synth melody alternates with a middle eastern snake charmer sounds and arabic percussion, in Track 7 "Dreamworld". Next is "Consciousness", swirling synth patterns and exotic murmuring background vocals riding a chunky rhythm give the listener a unique experience. Intricate layers of sound and propulsive rhythms make a fantastic blend of dub, chill,and downtempo nu-ambient. It will make your synapses fire and your body move! The ten tracks will leave the listener wanting more, and on the enhanced cd there are four more delicious tracks in mp3 format.Very nice idea. This is a top flight disc that is great for movement and highly recommended. yes, this album is really wonderful.
definitely check out the Magic Sound Fabric album on Spiralight records. part loungey, part psychedelic. with beautiful and delicate guitar work.
dub beautiful collective
bringing elitism to the masses.

got one track of magic sound fabric on some compilation i think.. definately looking forward to hear the album
