you're overall bpm seem to have slowed down compared to your 2005 stuff. kinda progressinging it.(is that a verb i mean word:)
but then again i feel your music. will not be conceptuated (that's definitly a word by the third read:D).
anyway. i asked chuck norris and he can't wait till he hears the full lengths.
and you know how he gets when he's eager:p

Hi could only hear chopper,maybe the server went down,but m8 this is in my very honest oppinion true Psychedelic Trance,at least my kind  ,it sucks u right into the music,loved the fact that u didn't use the normal 8th hihat at least in the preview ,really loved to get the full version.
Keep this kind of BPM,faster it gets kinda childish,with lollypops and stuff

i think it's overused and boring.

Caligula : I liked the starting, the bass notes are cool. But its too short to say much. You should evolve it more, its kinda boring. I think hihats+snares should have higher volume.
Tjickitom : Nice beat here, imo synthlines are kinda boring and there are too few here. Hihats are barely hearble as well here.
Ambience : Dunno what to say about it, its cool and weird!

Im sorry i don't meet up to your expectations or tastes.
but it's not what i'm aiming for anyway 
Next time, i'll try to put longer demos, and maybe you could say something more. like Why something is boring, or for what it's too few etc etc.
Just hearing people saying "too much of this, not enough of that" doesn't say anything other than about the reviewers taste... even good comments like "Cool beats!" doesn't really do it for me, Why do you think they're cool? I'd like something concrete in one way or another, like how it's "too much for my taste" would be totaly okay, or "too much for most speakers to handle", or "not enough to be telling a story". Just anything behind all of superficial endlessways-of-interpreting oneliners. (im talking generaly here. not aimed towards anyone here, rather, most.)
it bugs me sometimes that people don't seem to know how to be critical without putting themselves on some sortof piedistal of "when i say too much it is too much".
im not about to suport that stuff anytime soon
i think most of us can problely agree that we don't make music to rise to other peoples likes and dislikes. although it does seem like that sometimes. So i don't think that we should review tracks like that either.
just a thought. |
