unfortunately only for DIY users, but for fucks sake, the sound is massive and tight!

Yes it sounds gorgeous, found out about this 2 weeks too late, currently working on building the Shruthi-1 monosynth.

hey mate,

when you have built the shruti would you care to share some experience on how complicated it was to build it?

cheers, tim           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

Shall definitely do that once done. Can tell you this much, it's extremely tricky if you have not practiced soldering regularly.

Double sided soldering for the control board and one side for the filter board and they're both designed to be compact. I'm taking help from someone who repairs old TV sets to do the smaller components like the IC sockets...tend to get bridges when I do those myself.

Keeping fingers crossed it comes out okay.

If you're ordering a Shurthi they just put out a new 4-pole filter board

problem is i have moved into my new house and have a 9 month old daughter.. absolutely no time for making music at the moment and for quite some time now.

hopefully i will be back at making music soon but a project like this will not fit into the schedule

bummer they do not sell ready made systems..
the stuff from mutable really sounds and looks great!           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

It works! After tuning the filter, the Shruthi turned out to be the most wonderfully sounding analog synths I've toyed with, still discovering the things it can do. Have a friend who has another one so we polychained it, which works great. Each of the oscillators cuts through the mix clear as day so it's a pleasure to program.

If you can't do the build Tim you can order it from a builder recommended by mutable.

Should inspire you to get back in the game + you already have your most dedicated fan, until she learns to hijack your gear that is
