Must say 1 more thing .. Look at the other kind of musics around - Pop music , Rap and black music (Some times - because of this is more close to our world the psy) , Classic , Country songs and evry where you can find a man or a woman singing in , Always voices in the front and music are staying behind . In are genre there different rules thats based and built durin the years and got an long tradition . Psy music made by computers .. (90+ percent ) But we can get inside the peoples heart and soul with an right work ..

i recon that as a general mixing importance/priority scale for edm music, its not false but can also be reversed if its part of the creativity and the artistic view

though where does arrangement come in?
and isnt there a little too few pieces?
Often a section holds all these elements, but with variations...
