When artist make music..how often are they supported with video...
I see only a few video cd's being released..
Is it because of the cost...
Or It not worth while making them...
Or......... |

if i remember right there are a few on isratrance (its been a while since i have explored that section). i remember sub6 has one for Re'ha ya too. there are a few links if you search here.
i dont know why it doesnt happen more. im sure it has something to do with money, but i'd make a bigger deal out of videos if i were an artists/label.
some one say its just one more step toward MTV, but i think its a good idea that hasnt been explored too much. |

yaa videos could be a step towards MTV...
But I remember a party which i had gone for a couple of years back..it was Launch of Shock Drink by Coka Cola In india....
It was a24 hours party....
Some DJ's from sweden were playing.....and they had the Big Screen set up....And had some real cool videos goin on along with the music...
Visuals give a different taste to PSY Music... |

a step towards MTV? astral and hallucinogen have been featured on MTV, but they don't do it anymore because there weren't enough people interested, so it stopped before it even got started decently... I don't think we need to be 'afraid' of MTV showing interest in psytrance 
and videos are very expensive, even more expensive then hiring studio time to produce your music... that's why most psytrance videos are slightly edited recordings of live events... |

can anyone tell me the names of those video cd clip's for trance???
well i have a huge car audio include dvd player and i want some clips that will look's good with the trance.
my car audio system:
pioneer premier 760 cd player
magnat bull power component 140w
rockford speaker's 240w
1 pure acustics 800w 12" sub woofer
2 pioneer 800w premier sub woofer's
3 platinum audio 1000w amplifire's
1 power acoustik 1.4 farad capacitor
boss dvd player
pyle 7" screen

I guess it wont pay making classic video clips for single releases if you're a psytrance act.
Here in Europe Techno and Dance wont get much airtime anymore on MTV, VIVA and so on. So, if you're not a billboard act like Scooter, Aphex Twin, Prodigy or Chemical Bros they simply won't play you on heavy rotation.
And as said above - a clip isn't that cheap.
A better concept might be to release a whole DVD of a psy album. Maybe as a kind of Animatrix like movies that fit together to a real story around the music. Mmmh, well. Could be really nice. |

see if you can find a DVD by the M.M. Delight crew...
Years ago my friend brought me back a video from Japan, and the visual are completely deadly... They do visuals at most of the Solstice productions in Japan (which are known for being first rate)
I'd like to get my hands on a DVD by them myself... |

Still, in terms of making music videos for psytrance, what's the point? Psy is played at parties/raves, where the pro VJ's deal with the videos!

and for another question,
let say that i want to record the visual's on the winamp to avi\mpg etc.... files so i can burn them to cd as vcd, is there any program who can record's what's on the screen???? and in good quality???? |
