Can u tell me if there's anything wrong with this melodies,to me it sound allright ,but i don't know that much about scales and chord progression so i was hoping u can help me

yep, there's something wrong here.
the lead is in one scale, but the bass doesn't fit.

read up on scales and use them until you know how you can break the rules.

and btw: major scales are very seldomly used in psytrance for a reason.

to me the melody sounds alright, bass too except for some bass notes, maybe you could try "straight" bassline in some parts, though i dont know much about scales and stuff too )           http://soundcloud.com/taii

i think wat Taii said is true.

and fuck all the haters who say stuff str8 up , like ur melody is not in scale n shit .

melody can be anything , dont need to be in scale, need to be in key. and try writing chord progressions . melodies flow automaticaly.

Could find here two good things i like in - 'Strange' and 'happiness' .
I think no matter the way what important is the results .

This style is very cool ! Streaming with an good energys in .
Your sound geting better and better but u can get it higher .

Didn't know it was in major , that's how much i know 'bout scales hehe , i will read some more.

Your words are as always inpirational thank u very much , i really need to understand music cos that's my style
i dont really finish a track for 4 years now , never get to the mixing stage i'm simplifying my aproach nowadays and getter better results in the placement of sounds thanks to isratrance and more trained ears

So i will keep working on it till its done

The bassline matches the melody, i disagree with Padmapani. But you should still read up on scales and keys and what not. And there's nothing wrong with using major keys.           New album out @ psyshop - http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/gre/gre1cd013.html
