well, ive been trying to do music for quite a lot and i still haven't been able to come to grips with the trance style (or actually any style)....any suggestions on how to focus on 1 particular style or build up on 1 style???? I do listen to a lot of music....so that's not the answer i'm looking for...thanx           Interviewer: "So Frank, you have long hair. Does that make you a woman?"
Frank Zappa: "You have a wooden leg. Does that make you a table?"

...try to do a "remix/copy" of some tracks u like, then u can imagine exactly how the arrangement has to look like.

--> try to do your own style...has it to fit in some boundaries ?

bomski           experiment !
make it your motto day and night.
experiment,
and it will lead you to the light.
the apple on the top of the tree
is never too high to achieve,
so take an example from eve...
experiment !

hey zooter dude, you have to do the music that you like and not the music that people like other wise you really get into dance/pop music !
anyway I think that freestyle is cool!

some tips... if your trying for progressive.. everything progresses... forexample after every 32 beats or 64 beats adding something more and more.. til it reaches is peak dn them break it down... something like that..
there are a few formula's you can follow.. for full on... gorwling rolling bassline... kick... crisp hi hats... and loads of hi quality fx... and a nice voice sample... so yea..

the best is just experiment.. try and create a genre and it will have elements of your style...
