the quality of the sound is more important than the power...the power dosen't mean anything whene we blow some frequency off, of the acoustic wave (20hz-20.000hz) and thene we got noise no music:)in case that we have a amplifier class a( can amplify all the bandwith of the sound wave in hight power with out cutting the frequency)
+speakers that can stand the current,we got a nice line out;)
i personal give more attention to quality

I think when you say the music power you mean
about the vibes of the people and the feeling on the atmosfere.
If I am right this is the most important for me.
A lot of times at the past I have good time at parties with no so good music but with good vibes.
If it is posible I want both of them but if I must choose only one I prefer this.
The power of the people is most important for me because quality music I have and home...
but if yoy mean about soundsystem I prefer the quality because the psy trance is based on very special sounds and if you dont leasen everything you cant go
"in trance" but I need and some power also.
Dificult question...

Anyways, I think what u wrote has no meaning... Can u define what means power and what means quality??? I guess there isnt quality without the power

so it is SOUND quality vs SOUND power then, right? i personally choose quality all the way. i don't mind having less dB if the sound is crystal clear, but IMO the opposite is unacceptable (loudness that almost makes your ears bleed but with muddy sound that in the end is perceived as noise).
but, i also agree with CHP. in parties, power becomes a parameter that affects quality. you cannot completely seperate these two. you need to find the golden mean (in greek: na vreis tin xrisi tomi) between them, in order to have as loud sound as possible with the less possible compromise in quality. that's my opinion, when having to do with parties (not home-listening that is).

Well I definatly vote for quality...
I believe that quality begins on the cds that every dj uses when he/she perfoms...The way some projects compile their music...I mean technicly..The programms they use and so on..
So quality starts from there and when you have a very powerfull sound system you can make miricles!!!

I vote for quality  but on the other hand, i want the music to be loud enough to get you high and go "in trance". I hate it though when i notice in indoor parties, decibels that are beyond our eardrums' tolerance.
Personally i had such a dreadfull experience and after the party thought i was gonna lose my hearing! For the next week i couldn't tolerate hearing any kind of music cause i felt actual pain in my eardrums... even the roaring of passing cars sounded annoying. I got really scared and now when i'm home i prefer to listen trippy trance in low volume (believe me the real psy penetrates your subconscious even without a subwoofer support). But at open air events everybody can safely enjoy the powerfull psybeats cause the decibels have unlimited space to be absorbed thus, they won't be deflected by walls or other obstacles to your eardrums hurting them.
