Hallo to everybody, i intruce myself, my name is Lorenzo and i'm a new member from Italy and this is a great forum for me, hope you'll help me! I have a powerbook 1,67 2gb ram and i want make psytrance, i used in the past cubase and reason in window, now i have to chose the right program for mac, anyone here that use mac can suggest me something? Is there a "specific" program for this kind of music, for example logic pro is great but much expensive, i'd like to use reason in rewire too but i think my laptop will be stressed too much isn't it? So, some ideas? I was thinking about ableton live, logic express, please help me! thank a lot to everybody |

i would reccommend logic express or digital performer to you...
if you try the search forum im sure you will get many views on both of these...

thank for the answer Raul, i know dp5, is been used by my friend, i don't like so much like logic, i think is less intuitive and more difficult and it's all so grey (even if i've a motu ultralite and would be a powerfull choice!)! i like logic but logic express doesn't have internal plug in (maybe only few), like logic pro has, isn't it? And what about ableton live? It seem to me a right choice, less expensive, immediate, and make the same thing that the other expensive DAW make (with the difference that it work with vst and not with au)...help...i've to decide, is a good software for mac (PCC)? i know that when i'll buy this software will start for me a full immersion and i want to do the right choice! |
